Hexagon Bin Plan

The six sided storage bin that you will be building has, many uses, such as, a garbage bin, recyclables container, pool equipment or gardening tool storage and more. They have been used for storing kindling because of the air flow and breathability of the box allowing wood to dry nicely. This awesome looking container is constructed from standard sized 2x4 and 1x4 accompanied by a 3/4" dowel which will serve as the hinge. This eliminates the need for unsightly and expensive-to-replace metal hardware. The hinge system is stronger and a whole lot nicer looking.
